Catalan Adventures offers the very best in "guided walking holidays" in the beautiful region of northern Catalonia. Framed by the Pyrenees, northern Catalonia has many different faces. Within a relatively short distance, the warm, volcanic hills of the Garrotxa give way to a more gently rolling landscape coated with olive groves, vineyards and woods of cork oaks. Cross the final ridge before the coast of the Costa Brava, and you discover yet another scene - rocky coves, sandy bays and the rugged Cape Creus headland. To walk here is a revelation.
Our "guided walking holidays" are suitable for singles, couples and groups of friends. Each holiday is of seven night duration.
We keep our groups small (restricted to a maximum of 16) with an emphasis on fun, making friends for life and great memories.
You will need to be reasonably fit, but we want our guests to enjoy rather than endure their holiday so all our walks are graded 'easy' to 'moderate' so you don't have to be super fit.
Your accommodation is situated in the beautiful historic medieval town of Castelló d`Empuriés.
In the evenings we sit down as a group and enjoy a meal at one of our favourite restaurants, we choose a different restaurant every night. It’s a time to sit down and relax, reflect on the days walking, to have a laugh and to enjoy each others company.
As an extra bonus, a DVD of your time with us will be sent to you after the end of the holiday as a lasting memento of your time with Catalan Adventures.
