We thoroughly enjoyed the Catalan Coastal hiking trip.  The walks were easy to moderate and take you through breathtaking scenery on the Costa Brava.  There was sufficient time to stop for a refreshing swim and/or a leisurely lunch along the way.  The transfers worked perfectly and the hotels all have good facilities with easy access to local restaurants and bars. We walked along the Catalan Coast (7 days) - coordinated very expertly by Catalan Adventures. They provided comprehensive explanations of our route (including pics), briefed us thoroughly before starting our walk and were excellent communicators, always fast to respond to questions. The walk itself was moderately difficult with the heat and humidity making those ascents a bit more tough. But we did it! Highly recommended!

Sep 26: Back for a second trip, on the Coast and Mountains walking tour.  Just as good as our previous experience, with great communication, excellent planning and information, and lovely routes and locations.  Nice to experience the coast, and beautiful places like Cadaques,  but also with routes in the hills later in the week.  Hotels were all flexible and accommodating and we enjoyed some lovely meals.  Navigating was very straightforward with the app provided.  A great walking holiday that we are happy to recommend.

Sep 25:Great time walking in the Pyrenees.  Lovely routes and places to stay.  Walks had a good balance between being sufficiently challenging for regular hikers, but also time and opportunity to enjoy the great scenery, and arrive at hotels at a decent time. We were amazed at the individualized service we received from Catalan Adventures. Because of excessive heat (and often little shade on the trails), we had to cut back some of our hikes. Steve could not have been more accommodating and helpful in figuring out some workarounds for us. He was concerned for our well-being in the heat and made sure we had options of how to proceed. We have just returned from a trip with Catalan Adventures, walking in the bay of Roses area. What a fantastic experience. The walks have been really well curated, showing the rich variety of the area. From sweeping bays and coves to rugged mountains and forrest. The written notes are really informative, giving details along the way, without the feeling of being instructed or shepherded, allowing your own sense discovery. The GPX guidance is completely accurate giving the freedom of enjoying the walks without any concerns about losing the way.
The towns and villages we stayed in were all different from silence to bustle all compelling in their own way as reflected in the hotels used along the route. The welcome and service in these places was fabulous and never felt corporate or insincere. A lot of detailed planning and sourcing has clearly gone into putting these trips together. On that note it is apparent that Steve, who has set up Catalan Adventures, really wants you to enjoy this amazing place. Our time here saw some very polarised unseasonal weather and we needed to adapt the itinerary a bit to manage this. Steve and his team made this easy, offering advice on alternatives and helping with transfer adjustments. Ultimately this probably even enhanced the trip. We have also learned there are cycle tours in similar format.

Our trip was amazing. All of the locally owned hotels were warm and inviting. The towns that we visited gave us the Costa Brava experience that we wanted    Though the weather was challenging due to the heat the Catalan Tours team made it easy for us have a great time. This was our second walking holiday with Catalan Adventures, both trips were excellent and magical thanks to Steve and the crew taking such great care of us!  And of course, the Costa Brava does not fail to blow our minds!
This spring we did the Cadaques to Collioure walk with our adult kids, which was challenging (not so much for the kids, but more for the 70-something parents), but with breathtaking views. We’re glad we upgraded to the Llane Petite hotel in Cadaques and loved our dinner at La Sirena in that town.
We added an extra day at the end of our walk in Collioure, which gave us a chance to explore that beautiful town.

Catalan High Pyrenees  22nd to 29th June. This was a well organised and extremely well supported trip. From the moment we touched down in Barcelona to a query (placed and answered out of hours on a Friday night), we were looked after. The app with the routes was invaluable, reassuring us we were on the right path. The illustrated written route description was also most useful especially in the built up areas. The mountain hotels were good but we would recommend the ones at Molló and Setcases in particular. The activity level is accurately described. We are both in our late sixties and are reasonably active. Hard work going uphill in hot mountain sunshine and we were glad to finish on the longer days. The paths are well trodden and we never felt isolated or in danger. If you are competent in the hills in the UK, you will manage here. The views, mountain pastures and wildlife were fantastic. Hiked the Catalan Coast in Spain this summer and it was truly a fantastic trip!!!! Catalan Adventures does an excellent job setting up all the details for hotels, transfers, etc. Their markers on the trails as well as the amazing GPS guide allows you to follow the trails easily. We did the High Pyrenees hike and Steve and the other staff were excellent, so helpful! They were responsive to our questions and were proactive in contacting us before departure with all the information we needed about transport, luggage transfer, etc., and they provided timely updates on the trails as needed.  The variety of hikes was amazing and the wildflowers were everywhere (a real treat), the accommodations were excellent (friendly staff and responsive to dietary needs, celiac/gluten free). Catalan Adventures did a great job on our walking trip through Catalonia. We were a large party and they helped us quite a bit - from last minute adjustments due to one our our party falling ill, to help with a lost pair of sunglasses in a taxi, to ensuring we had a fantastic time and great local recommendations. We had a wonderful time walking the Catalan Coast from Begur to S’Agaro. The scenery was a great mix of mountains and spectacular beaches. The accommodation was lovely, the trip notes and maps spot on. We traveled in early June and the weather was perfect, warm enough for swimming but not too hot for walking. Catalan Adventures were wonderful, great recommendations and everything ran smoothly. Great walking experience for our party of 5 along the Rugged Catalan Coast, with great views and walking tracks along the way. Accommodation and food was excellent with very friendly staff  in all the hotels we stayed in.
The trails took us to places we would ordinarily not have come across and that was also a wonderful experience.

Fabulous week of hiking!  Weather was perfect. Nice to start out flat for a couple of days then hit the mountains.  They were definitely tough but not unexpectedly so. Hiking poles were definitely needed to make the days better. The online app worked really well, letting us know when we strayed too far off the route. The PDF instructions were accurate and helpful. For the rest day we did a 2 hour loop instead of the full route and it was perfect. Allowed us time for lunch at one of the beach restaurants we saw on the route. 15 minute walk to it and then went to lay on the beach at the end of the bay. Hotels were very comfortable and all well situated. Cadaques is definitely one place we intend to visit again.

We loved our walk in the Costa Brava area. It was lovely to be picked up by Maria who gave us a great introduction to the area and our walk. The coastline was magnificent and the towns we stayed in were perfect. The hotels were in great positions and the breakfasts were a real bonus. The instructions were very clear and the days were not too arduous. We had enough time to explore the towns when we arrived. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. Thanks Catalina Adventures for making our cycling holiday to Catalonia absolutely hassle free. From our pickup by Liam to our drop off by the happy taxi gentleman, it was  an enjoyable experience.  Our bikes were top notch,  accommodation was excellent  luggage transfer no problem.
I'm not sure how they sorted it but the weather was also excellent!!.

My husband and I just returned from the Catalan Coast and Mountain hiking trip. We can’t say enough good things about the hike itself as well as Catalan Adventures. They were full of helpful information, organized and helpful from the beginning of the trip to the end. The hikes went through diverse and beautiful areas of Catalonia. The accommodations were welcoming and comfortable in interesting towns. There were excellent recommendations on side trips and restaurants. Loved our Catalan Coast and Mountains boutique holiday. First time we have tried a holiday like this. The service from Catalan Adventures was excellent. The self guided nature meant we could go as fast or slow as we wanted. The app made navigation easy and the hotels were excellent. Most importantly the walks were varied and wonderful. We enjoyed our ‘Walking the Catalan Coast in Style’ vacation thoroughly. The accommodation was comfortable and varied from seaside to vineyard, and a good mix of the very old and new. There was always a great breakfast provided. The hikes included many beautiful beaches, some forest paths, agricultural areas and parts of the Camí di Ronde coastal path. We hiked the Rugged Catalan coast through Catalan Adventures and it was a wonderful experience! Everything from the planning to communications and using their new GPS trail mapping (Guibo) went as smoothly as possible. The accommodations and luggage transport also went without a hitch. My spouse and I did the shorter 5 night trip through the costa brava in mid October 2025. We had an absolutely fabulous time! The hotel in San Pere Pescador was closed for the season so we spent 2 nights in Castelló D’Empuries which is a charming medieval city. Hotel Canet was a lovely family run place and the restaurant is delicious and amazing value so we ate there two nights in a row. But we did get to do walk 1 from San Pere Pescador to Castelló to the beach (where we swam!) and though the bird and wetland sanctuary.

Day 2 was a highlight, walking on the rugged coastline with outstanding views and beaches all the way to charming Cadaques. We also swam the this day and had a leisurely lunch on the beach. Cadaques is as charming as it looks and I can see why there is a free day built in here on the longer trek. Would definitely be worth it.

Day 3 walk cutting across the peninsula was full of wonderful cork oak and pine forest and grassland with big views at the top. The descent into Port De La Selva was beautiful as well.

Day 4 was the most strenuous but rewarding we had some clouds and minimal light rain but it made the steep climb up to the Monastery at Sant Pere de Rodes more comfortable. Definitely stop a quarter of the way up at La Vall de Santa Cru. We had an espresso and mató (local fresh cheese) and honey to fuel the ascent. The Monastery was actually way more interesting than I thought and the clouds started to clear and rewarded us with panoramic views of the coast. The descent down was lovely and Palau Saverdera was a dream. The hotel Niu de Sol was easily our favourite. The design and aesthetic were tastefully and really well put together.

Overall, the hiking routes were very well designed and clear. We used the GPS track and it was easy to follow. We really appreciated the local recommendations and history about the area we saw. It’s clear Maria and Steve put a lot of work and care into this operation and it shows. Thank you! 10/10 recommend.

Catalan Adventurers provided six of us with great accommodations, e-bikes, transfers, and itineraries for our week-long trip in Costa Brava Spain. When we needed a bike tool and a larger helmet, Steve was there almost before I finished the request. The restaurant recommendations, routes, and freedom to go self-guided at our own pace made it easy to stop frequently in small towns, gelaterias, and wineries along the way. Lovely week, great trails, weather and hotels.  Nice people. Great hiking itinerary with alternative activities. Trail to Costabona was outstanding, likewise for Puig Taga. On the food side, local meat dishes and salads were good but one lesson we had to learn was that fish and seafood were not so good . Even in nice restaurants.  Last year we hiked the Highland Way in Scotland. The Pyrenees village walk has much the same rigor and variety and  accommodations for about the same cost. But Catalonia is more culturally interesting and has better weather. The countryIde was much greener than we expected. The trails were mostly well marked and easy to follow with the App from Mac’s and supplemental info from Catalan Adventures. The area has a rich history, including widespread opposition to Fasciism in the 30s and an exodus of partisans over the mountains through Mollo. There  is interesting historical signage along the trail, some of it in English to bring this history alive

Tremendous 5 days from Cadaques to Collioure. Good variety of scenery,  long walks (30,000 steps + per day), some steep sections, however worth it for the views. Hotels excellent for our needs, very friendly,  and baggage was moved flawlessly each day. Guided instructions and downloaded maps meant no navigational errors on our part. We booked a seven night cycling trip in Catalonia through Macs Adventures. Our local contacts on the ground were Catalan Adventures and they provided a super service during our trip. Steve picked us up in downtown Girona at exactly the scheduled time and drove us to our first hotel in Palau Saverdera. When we arrived there he gave us an excellent briefing on our accommodation, the cycling routes, local restaurants, things to see etc. After the briefing he kindly dropped us to Roses where we had a quick swim and lunch. The two e-bikes provided to us were sturdy and reliable and well able to deal with the many off-road agricultural trails that the routes often followed. On day 4 we cycled to our 2nd accommodation, Can Mas, just outside St Pere Pescador. Again this was a very good guest house with a splendid breakfast provided each morning. We spent four more days exploring the lovely coastline and places such as St Marti de Empuries and L’Escala. There were lots of excellent beaches with great restaurants for lunch each day. On our final morning, Maria picked us up at Can Mas and drove us to Girona Airport. We had a great week’s cycling with lots of swimming in the blue Med, delicious food and wine and comfortable accommodation. My wife and I just completed the Catalan Coast and mountains in style walk with Catalan Adventures. The experience was fantastic and highly recommended. Maria, Steve and their team were just great. From smooth pick ups and transfers to great restaurant recommendations and excellent accommodation. We enjoyed the different walks and the mix of beautiful coastal and historic country towns each providing a unique perspective of the region. Truly a company of the highest professionalism.  The self-guided walking tours in Catalonia (we did two of them) were well curated and covered spectacular parts of the costa brava.   Great value - and it is always good to use a small owner-operated company.  They speak English as a first language and specialize  in Catalonia.  No reason to go with the big companies. Fantastic adventure. Discovered the stunning mountains and coastline of Catalunya. Stayed in superb range of boutique hotels. Catalan Adventurers team were there to smooth the way for us. A wonderful week walking along this beautiful coast. From our first contact via an email enquiry, we have had a very positive experience with Catalan Adventures. Excellent communication throughout the booking process and then Maria was there at Girona airport, with her warm greeting, to take us to our hotel in beautiful Begur.  She gave us very comprehensive information in her friendly helpful manner. A very personal service and it set our holiday off on a high note, thankyou Maria!
The route was a delight, very easy to follow with the route notes alongside the GPX files provided and we thoroughly enjoyed discovering this lovely coastal area of Spain.

By far the best tour company we have ever used and we have used a lot of different ones over the years for walking holidays. Maria and Steve genuinely care about their clients ,and truly want them to have a trip that exceeds expectations. We had an incredible 9 days trekking in Catalonia on a self guided trip. Catalan Adventures went above and beyond think of everything from accommodations, to route notes with photos , restaurant recommendations, gorgeous hotels, transfers when we couldn't walk one day , offered to bring us to a pharmacy when I was unwell and  immediate responses from Steve via wats app on any questions we had during our trip, when we got lost Maria called us to offer assistance as soon as she got our message. Perfect week exploring the stunning Costa Brava! We loved the variety of landscapes with a mix of coastal and mountain walking. History, culture, great food, welcoming locals and stunning beaches. Catalan Adventurers set us up for success with great communication, thorough preparation with gps files and printed route notes. The accommodations were lovely local establishments with good locations and nice breakfasts. Catalan Adventures walk along the coast isn’t all fun and games, it’s fun games and a touch of hard work mixed with superb accommodation and wicked hospitality along the way. Passing beaches, bird sanctuaries, then bays, headlands and finally mountain climbs it is a six day walk that finishes with a climax. Our family had a great experience on this trip. Catalan Adventures had an awesome base trip to start with, but also helped us with some modifications that we needed to make this trip work within our schedule constraints. After doing the trip, the suggestions they made were spot on. The CA team is knowledgeable about the routes and trip details and were really willing to go the extra mile to make sure all i's were dotted and t's were crossed for this trip. If you have the means to upgrade to the seaside hotel in Cadaques, we highly recommend that option. Waking up gazing at the sea with our own private balcony was worth every euro.

We've done other self guided hiking trips with other companies, but CA exceeded other experiences we've had. Our only regret is that we had to leave the Costa Brava. That being said, we highly recommend this trip and Catalan Adventures. Keep up the good work Steve and team!

My wife and I walked the Catalan coast from Begur to S'Agaro with a self-guided trip provided by Catalan adventures, and it was wonderful.  The walks/hikes took us along stunningly beautiful parts of the Mediterranean coast. The detailed maps and navigational info they provided were super accurate and helpful.  And, the hotels the arranged for us were in great locations, most comfortable, with really helpful staff.  The weather is an important factor on this trip. For example, if it rains a lot, that can put a damper on  the enjoyment; if it's too hot, that can also be a challenge.  I think mid May or sometime in the Fall could be good times to go. I recently did a walk along the Catalonian coast with a couple of friends from Begur to S'Agaro and the walks were great with fantastic scenery. We especially liked the three days stay at the hotel in Calella de Palafrugell overlooking the bay - the hotel was fabulous with stunning views. The walks were well planned and covered by printed instructions, photos and GPS so that there was no way of getting lost!  We appreciated the induction at the start from Maria and the fact that our luggage turned up at every location at the right time. We had such a lovely time, the walks were great (a couple were harder than we envisaged) but the views were so worth it. We enjoyed a really great trip organised by Catalan Adventures from Cadaques to Collioure. The walks are well judged, the hotels well selected and the Catalan hospitality supreme. Also great to have the 'meet and greet' to get us to our first night's stay and answer any questions we had.

Very well designed itinerary covering great hikes, ancient ruins, architectures and monuments, beaches and arts.Pick up/drop off on time. Good choices of accommodations
with characters. Above all, very detailed route map and time-boxed section splits with instructions to help travellers self-navigate. I appreciated that they printed out the materials and handed over to me on day one and walk me thru’ what to expect everyday day. What a wonderful week we had! Catalan Adventures was fantastic from start to finish… pick ups and transfers all went effortlessly and smoothly and our luggage was always waiting for us when we arrived exhausted from another gorgeous hike along the coast, up and down mountains and through the stunning Costa Brava region with its gorgeous villages, monasteries and ruined castles. The hotels were perfect, some exceeded our expectations… who would object to a private jacuzzi after all? Maps and directions were so detailed and clear that we didn’t need to use the GPS files provided. Knowing that there was always support on the end of a phone was great. My friend and I had a lovely week long walking holiday organised by Catalan Adventures. Communication prior to the holiday was always prompt and helpful including clear travel instructions about where we needed to be, what we might want to book in advance  and what to expect generally. The very friendly Maria picked us up and drove us for over an hour to our first destination and gave us lots of detailed and helpful information about the next few days with an opportunity to ask any questions. We were doing a self-guided walking trip. The route from Cadesques to Collioures was beautiful and we loved all the places we stayed in. The scenery was spectacular throughout. It really is a beautiful area and we felt that Catalan Adventures definitely helped us to make the most of it. My wife and I really enjoyed the Catalan Coast & Mountain (Grade 1/2) self guided hiking trip this fall. The communication right from first contact and throughout the trip as well as the support along the way from the Catalan Adventures team was excellent. We had our itinerary adjusted to allow for 3 nights at the upgraded hotel in Cadaques allowing us to do the optional hike out to the Cap de Creus lighthouse as well as a day to explore the town. I thoroughly enjoyed my Catalan hiking adventure. This trip provided the best maps and trail details. I rarely went off-track and if I did it was easy to get back to where I should be. The accommodations were all top notch, and my favorites were Hotel Aiguclara in Begur and the winery adventure. I loved traveling via taxi with Elizabeth - she is a treasure! Great experience start to finish. The owners and staff were very good communicators and promptly answered questions and assisted with various travel issues. The logistics were all very good. We loved the hikes and the hotels were all lovely. We strongly recommend to anyone considering a walking tour. The hikes are challenging but not beyond anyone who is a fit walker, (though I wouldn't want to do some of them in the heat of the summer since you are out all day). I cannot speak highly enough about Catalan adventures. The service was amazing. The orientation was really really good. The communication during the trip was fabulous

The choice of hotels and the rest are on recommendations were absolutely spot on.

Maria and the gang gave great service throughout the whole time and the walks were absolutely incredible. They build up so they start fairly flat and the last day is definitely not flat.

One slight caveat is you have to follow the maps fairly closely because the electronic maps aren't always updated.

Our group of four seniors, (early 70's) enjoyed a wonderful biking holiday with Catalan Adventures. From the moment I contacted Steve I was struck by his professional, organized and honest manner. Emails were answered swiftly and no query was too minor. The bike tour was a perfect mixture of delightful countryside, small villages, historic sites, ocean, and natural areas. Biking 4-5hrs a day we had plenty of opportunities to explore this area of Spain, delight in the local cuisine and chat to locals at our coffee or lunch stops. The hybrid bikes were perfect for the terrain which was mostly on rural farm tracks or dedicated bike trails and occasionally on very quiet roads. The two accommodations were very different but charming, comfortable and friendly in quiet settings.
All four of us bike regularly and have taken bike tours before in Spain and England. This bike tour was one of the best we have had the pleasure to ride. You will not be disappointed with this adventure.

We've just returned from a week walking the Catalan Coast and Mountains.........fantastic walking, tough but rewarding when you make it to the top :-)
Very well organised trip by Maria and Steve and we do like the personal touch of meeting them rather than it being faceless like some other holiday companies.
Hotels were great and we especially enjoyed our stay at Miguel and Anna's in Sant Pere Pescador.  The home cooked food and relaxed atmosphere were a great way to unwind and relax after a day's walking.  We recommend a visit to Salvador Dali house and also the last bit of the hike from the monastery to the castello....you do need a head for heights though as its a bit of a scramble up and down, but the views are magnificent once you are up there.

Just completed Costa Brava mountains and coast walking holiday. Highly recommend this trip. Varied terrain, sea, sand and gorgeous stone trails and walls. Unfortunately we had a heatwave and to that made walking difficult. But the trail notes, maps and photos were excellent. We enjoyed all the hotels , special shout for Palau Saverdera. This adventure exceeded all expectations! The hikes were well mapped out and varied. We hiked by the ocean, over mountains and through farmland. Each hike was challenging and full of beautiful vistas. The accommodations each evening were small and personal with wonderful breakfasts! At the beginning of the trip we had a personal pick up by Maria and a drop off at the end. We felt supported the whole time and looked forward to each days adventure. We walked the Costa Brava with Catalan Adventures in early September and what an amazing adventure it was!

From the moment we were picked up at Girona Airport the company proved an excellent choice. The first meeting laid out our route and provided plenty of advice on the types of walks and likely conditions.

Steve was available on the end of the phone anytime and even retrieved a forgotten pair of shoes for us from a hotel. Nothing seems to faze him! And Maria is the same. The company is a charming family-run affair which is committed in providing a truly unique experience for the walker.

The walks are stunning — some fairly easy but some more challenging. The walk through the national park stood out for us with its beautiful wooden bird hides and deep sense of quiet. Cap de Creus where the Pyrenees meet the med at the most easterly point in Spain will strike you with awe.

The long, golden beaches and lovely, little towns stretched along the seafront. Some of the breakfasts were exceptional — Spanish omelette anyone? Or even cheesecake…

The trip by catalan adventures was excellent. The route descriptions and gps track worked very well. All the accommodations were great. They were able to give us a good modification of the hike on the last day of the trip.
They were always on time.

Our recent walking trip (family with 3 boys, 14,11,10) of the Costa Brava Spain, organised and managed by Catalan Adventures was 10/10. The customer service from Steve & Maria was first class. The hotels we stayed at were in super locations and our luggage was transferred between walk sites seamlessly. The breakfast extravaganzas were a real highlight of the day. The walking trails were very well marked and the directions and information supplied by Catalan Adventures were highly detailed and accurate. I had a great experience with Catalan Adventures! I booked a self-guided hiking trip around Costa Brava and Cap de Creus and had an amazing time!
I very much enjoyed hiking this section of the Cami de Ronda trail and other trails in that area which were well maintained and clearly marked. The organizors were very kind and responsive in their communication, and helpful both before and during the trip. The luggage transfers went smooth and my luggage always was waiting for me at the next hotel when I arrived. The hotels were all really great choices, spotless clean and came with a big delicious breakfast.
The maps and information provided were clear and even had helpful tips ranging from food to culture and language, and included info on the history of the towns that were passed on the trail. I highly recommend this trip and would definitely book again!

Walking the High Pyrenees was a good mix of challenging walks (around 15 km per day with elevation changes) which gave us a very good feeling for the environment, and very good quality accommodation. We learned about Catalan culture and history. Steve from Catalan Adventures was excellent. He was very attentive through the trip. He met us on the first day with a detailed pack of instructions, and also gave us updated GPX files of the walking routes, as well as incredibly detailed path instructions with photos. Steve and Marie at Catalan adventures were great. Very attentive and organized.  Pick up was great and not at their usual spot so they went out of their way to pick us up in Girona. The tour we took was  beautiful and the accommodations were great. Steve's maps  and photos were very detailed and

The coast is AMAIZING !!
Steve was very helpfull and explained everything in details before we arrived Catalonia and during our trip.
The maps and notes were all acurate and up to date.
Two out of four days were challenging and during hot summer days it is advised to start early morning.

Wow what an adventure. This was a present for my sisters 60th, and we can honestly say it’s one of the best weeks we have had together. The walking, hotels and towns were all amazing. Catalan Adventures self guided notes and support throughout the week was excellent. Our group of 4 women friends had a spectacular trip! We really enjoyed the variety of walks. Walks 1, 3, and 5 were out of this world. The choice of accommodations and restaurant recs were terrific - we especially loved the homey quirkiness of of Mas de Joncar, the stunning rooftop breakfast at Hotel Canet, and the last AMAZING hotel in Palau (!!!). Port de la Selva was the only town where we had trouble finding a restaurant open for dinner (there was one, but only one, since we were there early in the season). Highly recommend El Ratpenat in St Pere Pescador and La Sirena in Cadaques. We had some very minor issues with the walk directions on Walk 2 and Walk 4 (we were so used to following the grand route markers by that point that we stopped looking at the paper directions), but having the GPS tracking app was a great way to double check where we were. Thanks to Maria from Catalan Adventures for the outstanding level of communication, and to everyone for the seamless, worry-free, active vacation. I wish all holidays were this fun and easy! My wife and I walked the “Catalan Coast and Mountain” tour in October 2022.  I would highly recommend this tour.  Steve and Maria are wonderful hosts.  Great communication pre-trip, a very helpful in person orientation before you set out, and lots of tips on dining and sightseeing that were all spot on.  The best part of this trip is the diversity of the walks and places to stop and visit along the way:  Greek and Roman ruins near the beach, a wildlife reserve in marshland, a medieval hill town, stunning Cadaques on the water, a monastery high in the hills, serene walking with breathtaking coastal views, and much more.   We are 60, and we found all the walks very do-able, with gas in the tank at the end of the day to enjoy the sights at the destination.   One day we were tired, and easily took a taxi for 20 Euros to shorten the walk a bit and give more time to explore the sights.  We enjoyed the tour so much we are booking a second trip with Steve and Maria for Spring 2023.
