About Us

My wife (Maria) and I (Steve) are a British couple living in the village of Castelló d`Empuriés on the Costa Brava in northern Catalonia. We operate a professionally run "guided walking holiday business".

With regards to our background, during my military service (1990 to 1998) I gained a considerable amount of hill and fell walking experience after completing several military expeditions, as well as many days walking the hills and fells of the Brecon Beacons and the Lake District in my spare time.

Maria gained a similar amount of experience during that period through the Territorial Army and in her spare time with friends.

We met in 1998 and for many years we spent as much of our spare time as possible walking the hills and fells of England, Scotland and Wales.

For the last 2 years we've lived and walked extensively all over the region. During this period we have developed an excellent knowledge of the wonderful history and rich culture of this region.

We are both first aid trained.

We love meeting the people who come on our holidays. For us it's all about giving you a fantastic safe experience you'll always remember, a chance to meet new friends and hopefully you'll come back time and time again.

And of course Jack .... he accompanies us on all our walks and is a great companion to have.
